Mrs. Jeffries

Founder & Educator

Mrs. Jeffries founded Oak Grove Academy with a heart for creating a school where children are truly known, supported, and encouraged to grow. With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Master of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorders, she brings both experience and a deep understanding that every child learns differently—and every child is capable of growth.

Her vision for Oak Grove began with a simple belief: children thrive when they feel safe, loved, challenged, and connected. She believes education should include plenty of joy—singing, movement, creativity, exploration, and play—while also giving children intentional opportunities to build strong academic skills, independence, confidence, and character.

Above all, Mrs. Jeffries is passionate about meeting children where they are. She strives to create an environment where differences are understood, individual strengths are celebrated, and children are given the support and encouragement they need to succeed.

Her Christian faith is at the heart of her approach to education. She wants every child who walks through the doors of Oak Grove Academy to know that they are loved by God, created with purpose, and capable of doing meaningful things.

For Mrs. Jeffries, Oak Grove is more than a school. It is a community built around children and families—and she considers it a privilege to partner with parents as their children learn, grow, and discover who God created them to be.
